Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience or training working with diverse learners from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Proven success adapting instruction for individual learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Comfort with multi-grade teaching, including Math instruction
• Energetic, patient, and collaborative approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in line with educational best practices
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected
• Differentiate lessons and instructional strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed
• Advocate for student needs within the school setting
• Provide specialized support in math and across multiple grade levels as assigned
