Job Description:

We are actively recruiting certified Special Education Teachers for contract positions supporting school sites in the greater Detroit, MI area for the remainder of the school year.

Position Overview:

  • Status: Full-Time or Part-Time options available

  • Schedule: Immediate Start End of School Year (EOSY)

  • Location: Single school location in the Detroit area

  • Availability: Must be available during standard school hours with dedicated daytime availability

Caseload Options:

  • Elementary (K5): Full-time or part-time position supporting elementary students

  • Secondary (Grades 612): Middle/High School caseload options supporting older students

Key Requirements:

  • Full Special Education Teacher Certification in Michigan (Emergency permits/credentials cannot be accepted)

  • Experience with PowerSchool and Special Programs platforms is strongly preferred

  • Ability to start quickly and complete standard onboarding clearances
