Job Description

Seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers with current New Hampshire licensure for a contract position for the 2026/2027 school year! Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching license for the state of New Hampshire
  • Experience working in elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to implement individualized instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability and the skills to engage a diverse student population
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Modify curriculum to meet the unique academic and behavioral needs of each student
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven instructional decisions
  • Provide direct support and instruction to students, individually and in small groups
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based intervention teams
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure ongoing communication with all stakeholders
