Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License (required)
  • Experience teaching students at any of the following levels: K5, 68, or 912
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative work style
  • Familiarity with crafting and implementing IEPs
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans to varied learning needs and styles
  • Commitment to supporting academic and personal growth for each student

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction in accordance with each students IEP
  • Assess student progress and maintain regular documentation
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student plans and progress
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
