Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Previous experience with elementary-aged students (K-4) preferred
• Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ability to tailor instruction to meet varied learning needs
• Effective classroom management skills and ability to collaborate with general education staff
• Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and professional colleagues
• Ability to maintain detailed records and comply with district and state regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students identified as needing special education supports
• Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student success
• Prepare and maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and confidence for all learners
