Job Description

An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support middle and high school students in a K-12 setting located in Concord, NH. This contract position involves working onsite with a dedicated team to provide specialized instructional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored special education instruction to middle and high school students
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet diverse learning needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and participate in meetings related to student progress

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education Teaching License is required (please have a copy of your license and endorsements ready)
  • Experience working in middle and/or high school special education settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based in Concord, NH
  • 37.5 hours per week, onsite only (no virtual or hybrid options available)
  • Contract duration for the current school year
