Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 public school located in Concord, NH. This contract role, lasting from mid-December 2025 through mid-June 2026, involves working onsite exclusively to provide educational support to middle and high school students in need of special education services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and support to middle and high school students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to promote academic and social growth.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching license required.
  • Experience working with middle and high school students in special education settings.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavioral interventions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time (37.5 hours per week) for the duration of the contract.
