Job Description
A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at a school in Commerce City, CO. This contract position involves supporting the educational needs of students with diverse learning challenges, working collaboratively with staff and families to create inclusive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs
- Provide instruction and support to students with disabilities in classroom and resource settings
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to foster student growth
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations and documentation requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
