Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and educational strategies for students with special needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
• Adaptability for working with varied caseload size and severity
• Effective classroom management and ability to cultivate inclusive learning environments
• Commitment to fostering student growth, independence, and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver specially designed instruction within classroom and resource room settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Utilize effective data collection and progress monitoring techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
