Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in an on-site, contract role working with elementary, middle, and high school learners near Columbus, OH. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current teaching certification in special education
- Experience instructing in K-12 settingselementary, middle, and/or high school
- Strong understanding of IEPs and ability to implement individualized plans effectively
- Demonstrated collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction that accommodates diverse learning styles and individual needs
- Develop, update, and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to student success
- Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate regularly with families and team
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-related activities
- Contribute positively to the schools inclusive culture and support school-wide initiatives
