Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid state certification in Special Education
• Experience teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school level
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with varying needs in an in-person setting
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to support student progress
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address academic and behavioral goals
• Monitor and document student growth, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
