Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability for in-person school environments
• Dedication to fostering inclusion, growth, and academic achievement for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs in individual or small group settings
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
• Modify and adapt curriculum to match student abilities and accommodations
• Track progress toward academic and behavioral goals; maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate regularly with families and support staff on student development
• Foster a safe, positive, and respectful classroom atmosphere
