This full-time contract position is for an Intervention Specialist supporting a diverse group of K-8 students within a structured, collaborative school environment near Columbus, OH. With a manageable caseload of 16 students across various classifications, youll help deliver individualized education and foster inclusive learning experiences.

Your role will focus on both direct student instruction and partnership with colleagues to develop and implement tailored education plans. School hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:20 am to 3:30 pm, with a dedicated lunch break.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Ohio Special Education certification
• Experience supporting students with varying disabilities (K-8 preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to plan, adapt, and deliver individualized instruction
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work full-time onsite as required

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse educational needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
• Engage in school meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
