A contract opportunity is available for licensed Special Education Teachers to work with elementary, middle, or high school students in the Columbia, SC area from August 7, 2024, through May 28, 2025. With multiple positions at several grade levelsincluding Resource, Learning Disabilities Self-Contained, Emotional Disabilities Self-Contained, COAP, and SET classroomstheres a place here to match your expertise and passion.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license
- Teaching certificate with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities or Multi-categorical Special Education
- Experience supporting elementary, middle, or high school students in Resource or Self-Contained classrooms preferred
- Strong commitment to individualized instruction and inclusive practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction and support for students in assigned caseloads (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Develop and adapt lesson plans based on IEPs and students individual learning needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other educators, related service providers, and administrators
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school activities
