Job Description

A Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Colorado Springs, CO, offering both full-time and part-time contracts from ASAP through the end of the school year. Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education.
  • Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with children requiring special education services is preferred.

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective instructional strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Create a supportive and positive learning environment that promotes student growth and inclusion.
  • Adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse abilities and learning styles of students.
