Key Qualifications:

• Valid 165 Comprehensive Special Education Certification is required
• Experience working with middle and high school students in an educational setting preferred
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, fostering positive relationships with students, families, and fellow educators
• Passion for advocacy and support of students with unique learning requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students in both middle and high school settings
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates and support
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure students needs are met in inclusive settings
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom environment
