Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification for New Mexico (NM Licensure required)
  • Current High School Certificate for English or Biology (for specific HS SPED roles)
  • Previous experience in Special Education strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to students in high school (English and Biology), middle school resource programs, elementary Intensive Learning Centers, and Pre-K
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
