Partner with a welcoming, collaborative team focused on helping students thrive in an Intensive Learning Center setting. This full-time, contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 20, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week in a structured, supportive environment.
Your work will focus on supporting a self-contained classroom with high behavioral needs, providing essential services and implementing individualized education plans. Multiple positions are available, and educators open to obtaining New Mexico licensure are encouraged to apply.
What were seeking:
- Current or pending New Mexico Special Education teaching license
- Previous experience with high behavioral needs or a strong willingness to learn effective strategies
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction tailored to each students IEP goals
- Provide behavioral support and proactive interventions within the classroom setting
- Develop and maintain effective communication with students, families, and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, data tracking, documentation, and continuous professional development
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages social-emotional growth
