Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working with students from early childhood (Pre-K, Kindergarten) through high school
• Comfortable designing and delivering lessons in math for a range of grade levels
• Ability to collaborate with general education faculty, support staff, and parents
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Enthusiasm for implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapting teaching methods

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop tailored instructional plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Teach and support students in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom environments
• Monitor academic progress and adapt interventions as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages social and academic growth
• Maintain accurate records related to IEPs, assessments, and progress reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
