Make an immediate impact supporting young learners as a dedicated Special Education Teacher in a rewarding contract role for the upcoming academic year. This onsite opportunity spans multiple primary and elementary locations, providing you a chance to shape lives and nurture growth in students with diverse learning needs.

Youll play a central part in delivering individualized education for K-8 students in specially designed classrooms and resource settings. Be part of a passionate team supporting multi-categorical, early childhood, and emotional disability programs, with access to multiple school sites throughout the week.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active South Carolina Teaching License required
• Dual certification in Special Education and Early Childhood Education required
• Multi-Categorical endorsement needed for applicable roles
• Experience serving students in resource and self-contained environments (K-8)
• Ability to manage diverse classroom needs and implement differentiated instructional strategies
• Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver thoughtful instruction for students in multi-categorical self-contained (K-2), resource (K-8, early childhood), and emotional disability settings
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service staff, families, and administrators to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress monitoring
• Foster a supportive classroom culture that empowers every student
• Adapt curriculum and assessments based on individual student needs and goals
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school team meetings
