This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 2026 and focuses on supporting K-8 learners within a resource classroom environment. What Were Looking For:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience with K-8 grade levels, preferably in a resource room or similar setting
• Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong classroom management and evidence-based behavioral strategies
• Comfort with varying student behaviors and adapting practices accordingly
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and support staff
• Flexible mindset with a commitment to helping every student succeed

Responsibilities:

• Establish a safe, supportive classroom environment where every student is valued
• Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to each students needs
• Develop, update, and document IEP goals and student progress
• Work collaboratively with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress and strategies for continued growth
• Integrate behavior support plans and interventions into daily activities
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and adhere to all regulatory requirements
