A school district in Clifton Park, NY is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves providing specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and social development within an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
- Adapt classroom materials and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning abilities
- Monitor and document student performance and behavior regularly
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the ongoing evaluation of student goals and services
Qualifications:
