Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ohio Intervention Specialist to provide virtual special education services to students. This part-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on student academic and developmental success.

Position Type: Part-Time
Hours: 20 hours per week
Setting: Fully Virtual

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction to students in a virtual setting
  • Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and student records
  • Provide individualized and small-group instruction virtually
  • Utilize engaging virtual instructional strategies and technology to support student learning
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success

Qualifications

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License/Certification
  • Experience providing virtual special education services 
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable using virtual teaching platforms and technology
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the school team
