Key Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with varying needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success and inclusion
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions in individual and group settings
- Track student progress and provide clear data to support IEP goals
- Create a supportive, safe, and motivating classroom environment for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist certification is required
- Experience working as a special education teacher or with students requiring specially designed instruction
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Commitment to collaboration and student advocacy
- Familiarity with IDEA and state/federal special education regulations
Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week during standard school hours
- Engages with K-12 age groups across multiple grade levels
- Contract role for the academic year
