Qualifications:
- Mandatory dual certification in Early Childhood Education and Special Education
- Prior experience teaching or supporting Pre-K children is highly valued
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Understanding of differentiated instruction and Inclusive practices
- Effective communicator, collaborating well with families and educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, individualized lessons to meet IEP goals for each student
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for Pre-K children with diverse needs
- Collaborate closely with classroom staff, therapists, and families
- Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student growth
- Track and report on student progress, maintaining thorough documentation
- Uphold a positive and organized classroom atmosphere
