This contract position offers full-time hours (37.5 hours per week, 5 days weekly), providing a chance to enrich young learners lives while collaborating within a supportive school environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age students (grades K-3)
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction for K-3 students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and fellow educators to monitor student progress and adjust plans
• Write and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Foster student growth both academically and socially within an inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain well-organized records and provide ongoing communication with families and staff regarding student development
