Job Description

A K-12 educational institution in Clearwater, FL is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide exceptional support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to students unique learning requirements in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in meetings related to special education services
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida ESE teaching license is required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage diverse classroom populations effectively

Job Details:

  • Location: Clearwater, FL
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Position type: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
