Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credential with Special Education endorsement
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field (Masters degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience teaching various grade levels, including:
- Pre-School, Early Childhood, Pre K
- Kindergarten, Grades 15 (Elementary)
- Grades 68 (Middle School)
- Grades 912 (High School)
- Strong knowledge of learning strategies for students with diverse abilities
- Proficiency in tailoring instruction for Math across multiple grade levels
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt IEPs to meet the unique needs of students
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles and ability levels
- Foster an inclusive classroom climate that supports academic, emotional, and social growth
- Monitor and assess student progress, modifying strategies as needed
- Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
