Job Description

A well-established district is looking for enthusiastic Special Education Teachers available for a short-term contract in July. This is an excellent opportunity for educators passionate about delivering high-quality instruction during Extended School Year (ESY) services.

Assignment Details:

  • Duration: July 6th July 31st
  • Schedule: MondayThursday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
  • Multiple openings available; three Special Education Teachers will be hired for this period.
  • Caseload details to be provided soon.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (state or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is required
  • Expertise supporting a diverse range of learning and behavioral needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to various caseloads
  • Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to each students IEP goals
  • Collaborate with related service providers and general education staff to coordinate services
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding student progress
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging ESY classroom experience
