Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license (required)
• Experience teaching special education at the elementary, middle, or high school level
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

• Solid understanding of IEP processes and special education best practices

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
• Provide direct and indirect instructional support in a resource, self-contained, or inclusion classroom
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
• Use a variety of instructional techniques to promote student engagement and growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team processes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
