Youll be part of a supportive team for the full school year, with a schedule running from August 17, 2026, through June 2, 2027, and a commitment of 33.75 hours weekly. Your dedication to student-centered teaching will be highly valued, and your expertise will directly impact learners with unique needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Fluency in English and Spanish, able to effectively instruct in both languages
- Proven experience teaching at the junior high, or high school level (beyond elementary)
- Consistent career track in education, demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment
- Student-focused teaching style, prioritizing individual growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction to a class of 20 or fewer students
- Develop and adapt learning plans for diverse abilities and strengths
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture
- Collaborate with fellow educators, school staff, and families
- Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback
