Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification

  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individualized student goals

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging instruction in alignment with each students Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods as needed
  • Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and parents/guardians to promote student achievement
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for student progress and compliance
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to holistic educational planning
  • Support students with transitioning and developing life skills as appropriate
