A Special Education Teacher position is available at a school location in Cicero, IL. This contract role focuses on providing essential educational support to students with special needs, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning requirements, and collaborating with staff and families to foster an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students specific abilities and goals
- Deliver specialized instruction using diverse teaching strategies to engage students effectively
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching techniques as necessary
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations

- Valid Special Education teaching certification or license
