Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in Special Education (required)
• Demonstrated experience supporting students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Confidence adapting lessons for grades spanning early childhood to 12th grade
• Strong background in Math instruction
• Ability to differentiate instruction tailored to individual learning needs
• Experience creating IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering both academic growth and social-emotional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to support growth in reading, math, and foundational skills
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom environment
• Assess and track student progress; update IEP goals as needed
• Regularly collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
