Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher, working 1:1 with a student with moderate to severe needs. This contract position offers part-time hours and is located conveniently near San Diego, CA. Qualifications:
- Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (required)
- Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Strong communication and individualized instructional skills
- Ability to create a nurturing and structured learning atmosphere
- Reliable and collaborative within a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized instruction and behavioral support to a single student
- Design and implement Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals and track progress
- Modify curriculum and instructional techniques to meet student needs
- Collaborate regularly with other educators, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and development
- Foster independence and positive self-esteem in your student
