Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters preferred
  • Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with state and federal guidelines concerning special education services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver personalized instructional activities tailored to diverse student needs
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure effective inclusion
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, maintaining compliance with all regulations
  • Advocate for student support services and necessary accommodations
  • Track student progress, adjust teaching plans, and communicate updates with parents and guardians
  • Participate in professional development and teacher meetings

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
