Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active state teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt lessons for students with varying abilities and disabilities
• Experience with behavior management strategies and supportive interventions

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and deliver tailored instruction aligned with IEP goals and state standards
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists to provide comprehensive support
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team planning
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and self-advocacy
• Implement behavior intervention plans as necessary and provide ongoing feedback to students and families
