Job Requirements

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 or appropriate Special Education endorsement required
  • Previous school-based special education experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student success.
  • Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' individual learning needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure appropriate student support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP compliance, and required special education records.
