Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This is a great opportunity for a licensed Special Education Teacher looking to support students while collaborating with a dedicated school team.

Position Details
Location: Cheyenne, WY
Position: Special Education Teacher
Schedule: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week
ASAP - End of the school year

Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to students with varying learning needs
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
Adapt curriculum and instruction based on individual student needs
Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation
Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field
Active Wyoming Special Education teaching license
Previous school-based or Special Education experience preferred
