A contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained classroom at an elementary school in Chester, SC. This position serves as a backfill from mid-March to early June, providing essential instruction and support for students with special needs. The role requires dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment tailored to meet individual student goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction in a self-contained special education classroom
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and communication with parents and staff
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License with Multi-Cat endorsement (required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
