This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to work with K-2 learners, fostering their growth and helping each child reach individual milestones. With two openings available, you can collaborate and share expertise with another dedicated professional.

Key Qualifications:

• Possesses active state certification or licensure required to manage a special education caseload
• Holds a bachelors degree; eligibility to receive an emergency teaching permit
• Previous experience in school environments is essential, particularly within urban settings
• Demonstrates strong instructional abilities and mastery of relevant subject matter
• Skilled in behavioral and classroom management, ensuring a supportive learning environment
• Comfortable adapting to district protocols and site-specific expectations
• Reliable transportation required
• Able to work a set schedule onsite, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM
• Completion of Pennsylvania clearances is mandatory

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned to state and district standards
• Utilize formative assessment and differentiated instruction to address varied student needs
• Employ a broad range of instructional materials and resources to engage young learners
• Manage classroom environments and individual student behaviors positively and proactively
• Foster a culture of respect and achievement, supporting students academic and social-emotional growth
• Participate in professional collaboration and ongoing communication with families, support staff, and school teams
