Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Licenserequired
- Experience with a range of disabilities and learning differences
- Comfortable adapting instructional strategies and supports for diverse learners
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for fostering academic, social, and emotional growth in all students
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) according to federal, state, and district regulations
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and needs
- Provide direct instruction, intervention, and progress monitoring in both inclusive and specialized classroom settings
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of student progress and compliance requirements
- Support classroom management to promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
