Special Education Teachers are sought to support diverse learning needs across K-12 classrooms in Massachusetts. This contract opportunity offers experience managing varied caseloads in inclusive and specialized classroom settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education License is required
- Experience serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in behavior management and differentiated instruction
- Strong collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and families
Location:
- Position based in Cheshire, MA, with opportunities throughout the state
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored instruction and support to students with disabilities
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences to ensure effective communication
