Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school setting near Chesapeake, VA. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Special Education license in Adapted Curriculum (PreK-12) and/or Early Childhood Special Education (BirthAge 5)
• Experience with early childhood (ECSE) or K-12 special education populations
• Passion for inclusive education, differentiated instruction, and collaborative problem-solving
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills

Role Highlights:

• Teach and support students within your chosen age group (3 ECSE and 3 K-12 positions availablepreferences are accommodated)
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with general education staff and families to promote student growth
• Maintain clear records, progress monitoring, and regular parent communication
• Participate in remote panel interviews and straightforward onboarding, including fingerprinting as required
