Youll serve as a valuable resource for students K8, utilizing your expertise in special education within self-contained and resource classroom settings. This opportunity offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, working in-person with students, teachers, and support staff to foster academic and social-emotional growth.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and active South Carolina teaching license (required).
• Bachelors or higher in Special Education and Early Childhood Education (required for PCD Teacher positions).
• Multi-Categorical endorsement for self-contained K2nd grade classes.
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with disabilities in K8 environments.
• Strong classroom management, IEP implementation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to deliver differentiated instruction in multi-category and ED resource settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with IEPs for K8 students across various disability classifications.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Case manage and coordinate services, attending IEP and team meetings as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and compliance.
• Effectively communicate with families, support staff, and administrators.
