Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Massachusetts Special Education License required
- Experience teaching or supporting students with mild to moderate and/or intensive needs (preferred)
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong classroom management and adaptive teaching skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Dedication to promoting student independence and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans and individualized instructional strategies
- Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications in accordance with student IEPs
- Employ evidence-based interventions and data-driven instructional decision-making
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages growth, respect, and engagement
- Maintain clear, ongoing communication with staff and families regarding student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
