What We're Looking For:

• Active Exceptional Children Teaching Certification (required)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in middle school settings preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet diverse needs

• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities
• Dedication to fostering student growth and achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students' abilities and strengths
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
• Support students social-emotional growth within a positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent and beneficial practices
• Communicate clearly and regularly with families regarding student progress and support plans
