Job Description

This full-semester contract opportunity invites a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a diverse K-12 student caseload in Charlotte, NC. The role involves working onsite for 37.5 hours per week during the 2025-2026 school year, providing specialized instruction and support tailored to students' unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized educational programs aligned with students IEPs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to enhance student learning
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and social development

Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Special Education teaching license required
  • Submission of official transcripts mandatory
