Full-time positions are available for experienced special education teachers eager to serve in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Your expertise and guidance are needed to provide critical instruction and case management support. The district is seeking at least two special education teachers for high school assignments and may have an additional opening for an elementary or preschool teacher. If you have a proven background working in schools and are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential, this is an excellent role to consider.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification
  • Previous experience as a special education teacher in a school setting (required)
  • Ability to manage caseloads and conduct effective case management
  • Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to collaborate with educational staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Oversee or participate in case management, including progress monitoring and maintaining accurate records
  • Work with colleagues, families, and service providers to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning and implementation
  • Adapt to assignments at the high school level, with the potential for elementary or preschool assignments as needs are finalized
