Qualifications and preferred experience:
- Active South Carolina Special Education certification

- Proven ability to deliver specialized instruction and provide support services
- Previous classroom experience in special education environments is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and progress tracking
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs tailored to each students needs
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction across academic and functional areas
- Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere for diverse learners
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
