Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a Special Education Teacher in Arizona on a full-time contract through the end of the current school year. Opportunities are available at both Buckeye and Phoenix locations, engaging with elementary-aged students in settings that include self-contained classrooms, as well as push-in and pull-out models. You'll collaborate with a dedicated support team and play a pivotal role in helping each student unlock their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Certification for assigned grade levels (K-5)
• Content Area/Generalist Certification for elementary grades (K-5) required
• Experience in elementary self-contained and/or push-in/pull-out special education environments preferred
• Strong classroom management, differentiation, and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure a supportive, effective learning environment tailored to individual student needs
• Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct instruction utilizing both resource and inclusive models
• Track student progress, adjust instructional plans, and maintain accurate records
• Foster social, behavioral, and academic growth for a range of learning abilities

Assignment Details:

• Full-time, immediate start through the end of the school year
• Service at one of the following:
  • Buckeye, AZ 85326: Focus on elementary self-contained and push-in/pull-out models
  • Phoenix, AZ 85032: Providing elementary resource support, primarily through mix of push-in/pull-out approaches
